Summary: "I am a Cancer Survivor and loved this Book!"

I was diagnosed with colon cancer 5 years ago and would have loved to have this book in my hands at the beginning of my journey. It is packed with medically accurate yet easy to understand imformation. When going through cancer and treatments it can be overwhelming to read through all the information that you need to help you through. This book was extremely easy to read and the information both helpful and uplifting. I would tell anyone going through cancer to get their hands on this book, and if you know someone who has been diagnosed this is the best gift you could give them! Summary: "What Every Chemo Patient Needs"

As a retired RN and as a person who has sat at the bedside of friends suffering the side effects of chemotherapy, I wish I would have had this resource book. This is a compact, quick read with understandable recommendations to medical challenges. The pictures and the humor give an encouraging atmosphere. This is a darling little guide to chemotherapy with happy pictures and happy thoughts. This is a perfect gift for a friend or loved one that is anticipating therapy for cancer--the scariest word in our language! As a physician, I found this book precise and educational. I highly recommend it! There are many little pearls of wisdom, but the greatest feature of the book is the POSITIVITY it brings to the reader.

Everyone knows someone who is struggling through cancer (and likely, by extension, chemotherapy). This is an outstanding source of intensely-practical information (most of which you would never figure out on your own) that has everything you need to know and nothing you don't. For something as challenging as chemotherapy, it's nice to have a resource that doesn't read like a textbook or a computer user-manual. A must-have for anyone going through chemo!
